+1, not to mention after being an addict to this forum, you start to see the same topics/questions/problems posted over and over and over and over again. Not that it's anyone fault or anything, I guess that's when I came to realize that I've spent too much time in here already Originally Posted by beb

nope... it's the car... When I bought it (in late 04) it was intended to be for business travel - just a high mileage driver/beater... plan was to keep for 6 years and sell... I was actually in the market for a Z until I had client needs and tons of travel - then that changed.Originally Posted by beb

I spent many years modding the car which entailed lots of time of various forums and G/Z events - it's what I do, when I get into something I spent sh!tloads of time and money researching and submerging in the hobby...
It's been over 6 years now... and as expected, I've grown bored with it... I used to mod it continuously - there was never a month where I wasn't doing something to it or buying something for it... now it just sits. I havent even washed it in months

But yes, the forum isnt as intriguing as it used to be either... but that's mostly because there's nothing really new I can learn or get for the car.
Now I spend all my time on gun forums and vendor sites researching accessories, guns, etc... I've bought 3 guns in the last 30 days
None of which I had any intention to get - it just happened What little money I've spent on the G lately, I tell myself damn, I coulda got a nice gun! But then I think of all the money spent of guns and I think DAMN I coulda bought something for the G, but what??? >>> that's where the boredom comes in, there really isnt anything more to do to my G, unless I go FI and I'm not interested enough in it to even bother.
There are a couple things I've wanted to do - but it would cost TONS of money... the ideas I have no one has ever considered (much less done), but its cost prohibitive (and I'm not even sure it can be done)...
So anyway... the Thread Topic is accurate. I'm bored with the G - and I know I'm not the only one... it's just that most people that get bored either sell theirs or simply stop posting all together.

I would like to get a couple guns, shotgun, rifle, and pistol. Mostly for fun/home protection and as a hobby to pass the time. I also just recently got a tattoo, my brother in law is a really good artist and he just opened a shop here in vegas. So I guess I'm looking at a few other $$$$ hobbies other than the G

yep, tats are another passion of mine... I go on & off with spending money on tats - I need to stop spending on guns and accessories and get some more ink! Originally Posted by 3truman

Tats are a very addictive phenomenon too... you will absolutely unequivocally undeniably get more

Its my first, and I'm proud of it. The legs are bones, cause spiders don't have bones. Its on my forearm.
