Looking to purchase a g35 soon.

So I have been on the search for a g35. But sadly there aren't that many in my area. I've been looking around for a couple weeks now. I know very little when it comes to cars however after I test drove a g36 for the first time all the other car I have driven seem boring.

Is there anything wrong with this?

The only thing I really tell from the pictures is that the caliper(s) seem quite rusted.

Also do any of these seem worth?

Thank you for your input. Sorry if this is the wrong section.

The first one seems to be in good condition. but pictures can only show you so much, you need to test drive it and be sure to have a mechanic go with you to cjecm it out and make sure it's fine, especially if buying from a private seller

Yes there is something wrong, not 6MT. Otherwise, maintenance looks decent and kept. Would be worth a test drive.

Again, lack of 6MT is ridiculous. I'd go with the first one merely because it's newer. The 03 with that little miles tells me it has been sitting a lot which is going to cause premature wear on certain items.

I found a 6mt with 60k miles but it was rebuilt. I would rather have OP get a reliable car over a 6mt. 6mt could mean it is a rev-up that consumes oil. I would know since I have a rev-up and thank god it doesn't consume. Coupe tend to be more beat up than sedan and 350z get ragged on the most.

Thanks for the feedback so far. Is there a huge difference between the 2007 base and the 2004 ~ 2006 sports?

Well an 05 - 06 sport means it'd be a 6MT I believe. .. so faster and possibly an oil consumption problem

ah okay, sorry I'm still new to the G35 models and all. I was under the impression that sport models were all 6MT and 05-06 MT rev-ups

I think I would pass anyways. Smite me but I would prefer the Auto.

Also for maintenance, you guys say it is high. This will be my DD but I will only drive max 20 miles a day. Of course every now in then I will need to go into the city and other places. So how high are we talking? $500 every month, $2000 every other month?

Depends on the condition of the car.

If it was well-maintained and has no issues, then all you'd really spend on is the oil change every 3-5k miles.

If there are problems with engine, drivetrain, suspension, etc, I'd say around $500-1000 per repair (more or less of course) depending on where you get it serviced. Cheaper if you DIY. Dealerships will always cost the most, so stay away from them unless you can afford it.
