Cool lil video. I didn't know about silencing the horn when locking the doors trick. I still haven't figured out how to link my garage door opener to the car. Any clue?

so much for reading the manual. lol. I don't know if it works on the 1st gen. but for sure on the 2nd gen, you can not lock your keys in the trunk. if you put your key in the trunk and try to close it, the trunk will re-open and beep at you

Hold down the button that you want to program til it flashes(for like 20-30seconds til it does that) then press down your garage opener button from a spare remote so it learns the signal it needs to copy.

I lock the keys in my trunk regularly, when I forget they're in my golf bag. Did it yesterday. It won't let you lock the doors while the keys are in the trunk, so I still can use the inside release to get them out. Once I forgot them and it let me start the car and drive home. When I tried to lock the doors in the driveway with the outside button, it just beeped at me, and I remembered. 2011 G37x sedan.

I am assuming that is for the Intelligent Key equipped models only?
