G's and trees don't mix
I would have liked to think the accident wouldn't have happened if I had already had the new tires, but at the same time, it would have really sucked throwing $1,200 worth of tires onto a car and then wrecking it.
damn after seeing these pictures I will never sit in the back seat of a G, a while back I slammed the rear quarter panel of an 06 civic into a jersey wall at 80mph (100% not my fault) and the damage was less than half of that, kind of interesting
Glad you're alive man! The x is gonna be a ton better in the snow, but don't get cocky. Even though it may never get stuck, turning on ice at 25 mph can still send you into a curb. Believe me, I learned my lesson the hard way. I grew up driving in tons of snow, I had taken tons of trips up the mountain in my 04 G to go skiing, and 300 ft from my office, I curbed it hard enough to do lots of damage.
Needless to say, I will treat my 08 much better. Keep my advice and be careful. Nice looking sedan btw!

I've always worn my seatbelt, I can't believe I forgot that night, though a 12 hour shift and it being 2AM may have had something to do with it.
Ever since, car doesn't leave park until everyoe in the car is buckled. you don't click it, you get out.

I always have and do wear it, i just forgot that one time, of course. And yeah, I got it from a 23 y/o woman who probably never took it past 60. That was a beautiful car.
Hell yes it can, I can't imagine being in something like my moms corolla, or my old eclipse when that happened. I would probably be dead.
