The words of the day are ....

Opps...

and FML....

So it started out as a nice easy day, hanging out with the dog because I got done with work early, having a beer and watching some TV, when I decided, "Hey, why don't I install the 6000k bulbs and 3000k HID kit I've had sitting around? That won't take more than hour and I'll be done before the wife gets home and wants to get back in the garage!"

And then I remembered that because I'm a little low, it's just easier to take the wheels off to get inside the fender liner and drop the bumper, and when I got to doing just that, one little lug nut was abnormally tight... the result is what you see above. I sheared off half the damn wheel stud and will probably not be able to salvage that R40 lug nut unless I'm real real real lucky with a drill later on.

The only upside is that I do still have the factory lug nuts and I've got a set of extended studs, but I think I'll leave that for another day.

In summary, today's words of the day are "oops" and "FML" - have a better one than I'm having.

Leks
