Request to Manufacture of G35 for recall---> battery drain/radio/CD system

Considering options
I totally agree-up to a point. This is not something that should just wear out with time-this is (at least to me) a manufacturing defect. And if it is something that Infiniti is aware,I feel they have a moral responsibility to make things right. But than again that's my opinion (and everyone has one-as they say). I could be wrong,I've been wrong many times before.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
No need to get all butt hurt, you're not the only one who misspelled the name in this thread. And I have plenty of better and more important things to do, but as a moderator I am required to look through the forum daily and help clean it up. You drive an Infiniti, not a brand of speakers.

OP, are you serious? these responses are just messin with you, there is no imperial court of response for these issues, if you really are trying to contact Infiniti, I suggest trying Infiniti Consumer Affairs, as some have said, I don't think they will do anything, for the age of the vehicle.....
good luck

Is there even a TSB out for this problem? I doubt there will be a recall. Not to burst your bubble but since the vehicle is so old at this point It would take a monstrous amount of cars affected to initiate some sort of recall for a battery drain... The car is 10 years old now and stuff just happens. Sure its a common problem, but its just that. A common problem. Bring your car to a COMPETENT Infiniti dealer and have the problem fixed. Not a new battery, I mean fixed. find out the source of the problem and get it fixed. Is it going to be expensive? probably. Is it cheaper than just dealing with it and replacing the batteries? potentially. Its up to you to weight the cost/benefit. welcome to the world of used cars. Its like me asking Mazda to recall the apex seals in my Rx7. is it common for them to go out and ruin the engine? yep. Will they do anything about it? nope. Unless your battery draining somehow leads to a horrific accident and lawsuit, Infiniti is probably going to tell you to suck lead
Side note. I still cant tell if the origin of this thread is actually serious. seems kind of.... trolly....

yea if the oil seals are shitting the bed just keep feeding it oil. Thats what I did with my current one until i yanked the engine. Pre-mixed it along with the OMP. But all the oil in the world wont fix a blown apex seal.
On a side note, why is this thread still alive..

I am in that boat with you. Now I cannot even use my window defogger (front and rear) and it has become a serious driving hazard. That is,unless of course, I stop every so often, get out of the car,and wipe the windows by hand. It just seems to me that the manufacturers are so concerned about their cost that the cost (not to mention the inconvenience) to the consumers is of no consequence to them.

There was a time when cars did not have rear window defoggers and no A/C. They drove around fine without calling it a safety hazard. That's not going to justify a safety recall.
Lets be realistic. You have a 10-year old car. The warranty was expired 6 years ago. How much longer can you reasonably expect it to continue to last without any issues? Yes, the radio issue is a common defect but nothing will be realistically done about it on a car so old.
