Okay guys, so i have a question..how many of you guys are sponsored by some kind of company? I'm talking about tires, suspension, exhaust and etc..

how would someone go about trying to get a sponsorship? I know a lot of guys who dont attend car shows, but are sponsored by Falken, BC Racing and etc etc...

 

Prove yourself that your car is a car that is worth someone having their name on. Networking helps as well.

 

Your car has to be something really special to get sponsors attention.

And its not just a one time thing. Your car may travel without you. Or you maybe asked to travel many days in a month.

 

sometimes they post on the forums like ARK did when they released their new suspension. I contacted them and asked about it but couldn't afford the price for it at the time. Chris (g35man04) is sponsored by them and he rocks a decal on his windshield.

 

Hmm that's interesting. Mike M and Kevin in our group was/are sponsored. When Mike worked for Discount, he had a sponsorship from Falken. Kevin has a tire sponsorship, BC Racing sponsorship and a few others.. I was curious about this because i want to attempt to get a tire sponsorship.

 

Are you racing or anything?

Nope which is why i'm curious as to how people do it. I do attend a lot of major meets in the SE
