If you're going to San Diego, hit up Seaworld and/or Lego Land if you have kids. I went to Lego Land when I was young and it was pretty awesome.

And since you're in Anaheim, you should be close to a place called Medieval Times. It's a dinner show with knights and fighting in an arena, and you get a huge piece of chicken, bread, soup, like in the Medieval Times. Food is great, and the show is very entertaining; if you have kids, that's a place to go one night.

I've been out of SoCal for almost 9 years now so I don't remember any other great food places.

^+1 for Medieval Times! That is an awesome show for you and the family. If you like food there is lots of restaurants near you. For show, since your at Disneyland, eat at the rain Forrest cafe. IF you love Sushi there is lots of Sushi places in LA area, especially in the city of Gardena.

Sushi on Fire in Huntington Beach is really good. Great atmosphere too.

As for Pho...I like Pho King only because of the name lol

if your going to all these theme parks it would be great to get in touch w/ a military person right now so they can get you the discounts on everything. another way to save money.

I agree. That is a great idea! Find out if there are any military forum members that might be able to help you out.

What other parts of Cali are you planning on visiting?
How many people in your party? Kids? Wife?

If it is just you and a chick, you could jump on a boat to Catalina Island.. spend the day snorkeling and have a good dinner on the beach and hop on back to Long Beach.

Dont forget to use www.yelp.com it will come in super handy!

I live near Anaheim....but the only things that come into mind are:

In-N-Out
Kaori Sushi in Fullerton (5-10min away) really yummy but driveway is horrible if you have a lowered car!
Dont really know any good pho restaurants in Anaheim though...

Have fun! If youre going to Disneyland; dont forget to eat the Corndogs and World of Color is a MUST! Get restaurant priority seating by dining at a Disney restaurant!!

No military does not need to be there when you have the tickets. If you know what you want to do, have him give you a quote and when you see the military guy just give him the money and he give you the tickets. Then off you go w/ the family to have a blast.
