Hey g35 family I bought my g35 2 days ago it's a 7 speed Manuel 4 some very odd reason the car doesn't go to reverse it goes right into 6 gear so I parked it in my garage since I got it and it's been sitting there ever since I hold the clutch all the way down start the car and go to reverse I think it's bad luck because uncle huck had the same problem with all the 7 speeds he's had can any1 help

 

7 speed manual? What year is it?

Are you pushing down (towards the ground) on the shifter when you go into reverse?

 

wtf 7 speed? where did you find one of those?

push straight down on the shifter then move it all the way to the right and down

7 speed push down on the shift *** and move all the way to the right (while pushing down), let off the clutch real cool like, and you should go backwards lol

As stated earlier, if you PUSH DOWN on the shift ****, it will let you shift to "7th" gear (reverse).

 

haha! I have a 7th gear. It always comes it handy when you go 120mph Plus~!

 

Sorry bro, the only "7 speeds"(these arent bicycles) is the 7AT thats in the Z34. Push down the shift **** and THEN move it to the 6th gear spot. maybe your tranny's ****ed , or maybe you shoulda bought a 5AT

Edit: if you're lookin for a 5AT, HIT ME UP!!! I'de be willing to trade for a 6MT inna heartbeat
