yep everyone ok just the car took the beating. I'd have to say the clutch issue is worse in the 2nd gen. A guy who runs the shop who installed my exhaust has a 03 manual g, and he stalled mine out just pulling it out of the bay. He said my clutch nuts and did not like it. It's definately the most difficult clutch I have every driven, I have owned 5 speed honda prelude, accord, xterra and were all so much easier to drive. Still love manual and hate auto so much more tho

Thumbs up

Glad to hear everyone was ok. I agree these cars are hard to drive well. I've driven many cars that are much easier then ours and you can mindlessly click through the gears after only a few mins of driving.

couldn't have said it better myself. bane of my existence as a MT driver.

i'm definitely in to try this. Unless i'm paying attention those 1-2's are quite a pain. And the more and more i drive my car i can't stand the numb feeling of the clutch. I feel like i am constantly adjusting my seat to get my engagement motion perfectly smooth

I am certainly interested in this. One of my few complaints with my G35 coupe is the ridiculous bi-polar nature of the clutch pedal.

The G35 clutch is not grabby at all for me. Driving my friend's coupe. That thing is ridiculous easy to shift smoothly.

Maybe it's just me coming from a 400whp evo. 6-puck race clutch, HD pressure plate, and lightened flywheel.

The race clutch has no friction point. It's on or off. Grabs so hard when I start moving from too low RPM's, the entire car begins to jerk VIOLENTLY due to excessive clutch chatter.

The only issue I had driving my friend's G35 is that the engagement point was very high.

look forward to hearing the feedback from testers once this product is final and in use. I understand the concept and think it is a great idea. I also know Nissan/Infiniti has put effort and money into development of these cars and overall feel as well as the partner 350z. If this product can improve the feel drastically compared to stock it will be a hit, im curious to see the result.
