No I mean lower as in less noticeable. I did have a nice aggressive, sporty sound all throughout the powerband and but now in the lower rpm range I don't hear the exhaust as much. It sounds great when Im at about 4500 rpm's + but how often are you really that high in the rpm's ya know. I got some resonated test pipes that I hope return the sound. Just want a more aggressive sound in the lower rpm's when I get on it alittle.

Ah man, I just bought a spacer and didn't think it would make the exhaust less noticeable. If anything, I thought it would make it louder.

Did you notice any difference in exhaust sound in the lower RPMs?

Dont get me wrong. I like the results. The power is great. You'll most likely get that sporty, throatier sound back when you add hfc's or test pipes.

I'm wondering what power gains I'm going to see with the test pipes I've got waiting to go on. I know they'll be better once I get full exhaust but with the Y pipe it should definitely make difference in the sound.

I see. I'm no expert, but it doesn't make sense to me to lose some exhaust noise.

Me either. I was telling another guy with a G about the decrease in sound and he said he thought the same thing after installing his. I can't explain it. I was just looking forward to the power gain. Didn't even think about the exhaust sound being effected.
