The answer is simple, there are better ways. Coilovers give you total ride height adjustability.

Is this a real question?

why even post in the thread if your just gonna act like a douche? seems like a big problem of yours...of course its a real question..a lot of other cars have aftermarket lowering spindles but i havent seen any for our cars sooo i was asking why..

gary i understand coils are the beezneez..i was just wondering why they dont make spindles..seems spindles would be better then just putting smaller springs.. thanks for your answer though!

The suspension layout and strut tower height won't allow it, for starters. The upper a-arm's ball joint stud is about an inch from the top of the tire. If you move the spindle up you can only go another ?? 1/2 inch comfortably.

At that point, you have to raise the spindle way up to have the barrel of the wheel clear the upper a-arm. But you have no clearance above the upper a-arm so you can't do that.

That is why. If you want to go low on these cars it's coilovers or bags.

ahh that makes perfect sence! thanks for the info.. i dont want to go to low..itd be nice to have the fenders level with the top of the tires...or at least have the rear end level with the front end.. maybe i should just cut the rear spring mount... i live on a dirt road so i cant go to low.. airbags could be nice so i can lift it on the dirt road and lower on the streets...

It's OK to cut the springmounts but please, don't cut the springs.
