and i still have some more modding to do this year, gotta get my poly diff bushings installed and i've also been looking into a 1pc cf drive shaft, LOL

 

Damn you guys have done some serious work on the G's

This year has been an experience for me. Bought the G in May of 2010 but didnt really start modding until this spring.. this is what I did:

Exterior

Dumped N1 style front lip and got the AIT Ings front bumper
Ings side skirts
Chargespeed rear bumper
Flat Iron board spoiler then changed trunk completely and bought Strafe V2 cf trunk
Projector headlights
Painted tails
Went back to OEM grill painted gun metal then eventually flat black

Wheels

Painted calipers black from red
Went from 20 X 8.5 all around Kmc's black and chrome to OEM rays 19's.
Painted Rays gun metal.. sported for a few months then got Falken Koblens.

19X9.5/ 19X10.5 Falken Koblens painted black with bronze lip.. Hated the lip so I painted the lips gun metal. Finally painted them all flat black which def looked the best.

2012 plans:

Getting away from the murdered out look and adding more color!

Axis Rev step lip wheels (polished and gold) or another similar step lip wheel in the less than 2G range .. but def not varrstoen. I was feeling them until I kept researching.

Next year's mods:

1. MD Shockwave TDX2 exhaust
2. Nice custom wheels
3. Short shifter
4. 06-07 tail lights
5. Maybe 06-07 headlights (haven't decided yet)

I'll leave it at that for now. Might do more, might not. Depends on $$$

Nothing comparable to some of these guys, but its a start.

I modded my bank account and stripped everything off my G and sold everything! Good bye G35 it was a great 8 years! I have moved onto a 2011 STI sedan...big plans for the STI.

I don't get the mod addiction. Lots of money. Very little to show for it.......unless you're a pimp.

 

This year-
Modded my stock bumper in leiu of replacing the whole thing with a Kuruma Z bumper (probably coming in the next year or two)
Added yellow euro foglights
7" touchscreen DVD, Bluetooth, iPad compatible head unit
Replaced speakers with Infinity Reference speakers and added sub with amp mounted where stock Bose 8" sub was previously
Cleaned up all the turbo piping front and rear and re-painted it
Rewrapped turbo pipe in new clean header wrap
New wheels and tires
Carbon Fiber wrapped various interior parts
Changed out shift ****
Transgo shift kit
Trans cooler
Replaced all trans fluid with Nissan Matic S
Blacked the grill and replaced Infiniti badge with a Nissan badge (mine was all chipped up and destroyed from last winter)

Next year-
Move and rerun rear mount turbo piping through transmission tunnel to get rid of some of the low hanging things under the car
Then lower the front of the car to level it out with Z springs
Install wideband and boost controller and up the boost to about 8-9 pounds,

A z tube and clear corners were my main "mods" lol this year.

 

I don't think many people want to be reminded how much money they spent on their G's lol!

But while we are on the topic, I had a very generous 5 figures into my G before I parted out.
