I got my 08' g37 a few years ago, just got around to signing up to the forum today. Nice car, I like it a lot.

Few questions:

My acura TL had a setting for auto lock when I turned it off and walked away (running errands) is anything like that available on the g37's; it would be nice with the keyfob in my pocket.

Regarding Navigation: With my TL I was able to say find closest Chinese restaurant and it outputs the closest chinese restaurant; are similar commands available? Or drive to (a name in my address book?)

Also, I have tried multiple times to sync or import my contacts from my iPhone and I can not get them to upload, the Bluetooth works fine for calls but my Contacts aren't synced. any thoughts?

To answer your first question, no. There is no walk away/auto-lock feature. But, are you too lazy to just press the button on you door handle after you close your door? In case you didn't know, the same button that unlocks the door before you get in, can also lock the whole car after you get out. I never take the key fob out of my pocket... except when I change pants.


Can't help you with the nav, don't have one.


There is no way to import contacts from your iPhone. Sorry. You have to do it manually. But, if your bluetooth is on, you can hold the home button on your phone and use the phone's auto dialing through the car's stereo. Its just as good to me.(Sorta, you only ever see the number of who is calling)

Is there a way to say find the closest Chinese restaurant? Sometimes I find myself using the Places finder and it only lists the closest 5, any way to scroll down?
