I am looking at a 2005 350z. It's pearl white, and that's about all I know. I'll have to call the dealer tomorrow and ask what package it is. If I go with a Z, it's got to have leather, bose, etc. I can't go from luxury down to base lol.

And the only way you're getting an STi in that price range is one with 200K on it. Just being honest.

I'm not interested in the STi. My co-worker has one and the interior just doesn't do it for me.

do not buy a z with a bose package, you will regret it; many of us z owners with bose removed it because the factory bose amp is only 17 watts rms roughly, spearks are all low quality clarion 13 watts rms roughly, and the head unit..... fail.

z is very impractical, i would suggest the g coupe over a z. HOWEVER, you can so choose to make it practical if you are willing to do what jackson and i did... install g35 rear seats in the back of the z. jackson and i are the only two we each know of that have 4 seater z's in the states, maybe in the world? *shrugs* bit dated pics but i haven't taken recent ones since these.

now that's cool ^ however I have had people in the backseat twice since I have owned my car. So having four seats isn't a necessity. I'd almost rather prefer it, I hate having other people in my car.

As far as packages, I want larger seats, traction control or vdc control, and heated leather would be a plus. Leather is a must however.

it's strange to me how people love leather... leather for driver seat is absolutely unacceptable in any of my cars lol. i hate the cooooold winters and 1st degree burns of summer... i do enjoy seeing passengers experience that though lol

I would also suggest taking a look at a 2006/2007 Mazdaspeed 6. Great car for the money with AWD, 274 HP, and manual 6-speed. I just traded one in on my 2008 G35x, but loved the Mazda. Very fun car to drive, and they can be had for around 15k.
