theres plenty of parking on the street lol... atleast yours doesnt scratch your whole undercar 2x a day. ( its and underground parking lot so theres a hill)

 

I so badly want to say how impractical it is to have your car that low, but I left my flame suit at the cleaners.

+1. My days of "slamming" my car for the mere sake of looking cool are long behind me. Got sick of tearing up front bumpers, side skirts, and undercarriages on every bump in the road. Tired of driving crooked over every speed bump and cockeyed up every curb. Maybe it's a sign I'm getting older. lol If your car does nothing but sit at shows that's one thing...but for the other 99.9999% of us who have to actually use our cars, it just not feasible.

 

Couldn't have said it better myself. Some cars look good when they're low but it's just not practical at all for a daily driver. I scrape at stock height every now and then. I could just imagine the scraping when slammed, ESPECIALLY ON THIS SHITTY NEW YORK ROADS!!!

 

^Agree also.. Must just be us that know our roads are awful. Also OP I was thinking about it, why dont you back in next time at an angle. As long as you dont have a chargespeed rear you probably could get up without too much trouble.

 

iv done that before and being slammed was cool but got tiring for daily driving

 

so what is everyone whining about it? I didn't hear any horrible scraping of the undercarriage. I'm sure some exhaust pipes scrape because thats just how they are but all I saw was a low car with stiff suspension and stiff body and in need of a new LSD unit? I just don't see/hear any real damage.

If you do that you have a much greater chance of scraping the front bumper very badly because you wont be able to keep it at enough of an angle to get a front wheel up before cutting it straight. Better to go front first but at an extreme angle up the gutter and get a front wheel up first before cutting it straight.

 

And.... thats one of the reasons I hate Texas.

Driveways are like that everywhere, whether its residential, business or most parking lots for that matter.

 

I wouldn't have done it. Park it on the street...

 

I'm not too slammed and yea I gotta take driveways at a 45, the worst part is hearing your wife say...."This is Crazy!"
