G35 Coupe Projector Headlights

I got a set of 06+ projectors a while ago and havent had the chance to install them. 06+ projectors look great & all but I rather have something custom. So I'm thinking twice about installing them on my 04 Coupe.

I'm leaning more towards the idea of 04 Coupe headlights with quad projector setup. So thought id ask for you guys' opinion on whether its a good idea or stick to stock 06+ headlights.

06+ quad projectors is not an option i have in mind

If you have pics of quad projectors setups PLEASE post them up.

Please vote. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Coupe headlights are a PITA to retro fit LOL =(

I know its irrelevant but just take that into consideration.. clearance is horrible lol I have a mixture of 03-05 and 06-07 headlights here (about 5 sets in total) that I'm playing with and I cant come up with anything as clean as the sedans that we've done.

But IMO if I were to do it I'd go with 03-05 projectors and modifying those. 06 retro fit is x.x because of housing design. At least thats how I feel.

In my opinion, you can't beat OEM quality products. I am sure the non OEM might look good, but I would be more concerned about the long haul. I have heard and read too many horror stories with people having problems with aftermarket lights. If it were me, 06+ all the way.

^^ Agreed somewhat. its not like I'm using eBay projectors. I will be using OEM Infiniti projectors or Acura. Output will be same if not higher than stock headlights

True enough- but I am just not fond of going into the OEM housing and mucking around and adding things. I have heard too much about leaking lights, etc. But it seems like you have some good ideas. For what its worth, seems like a nice idea.

yeah some dont seal them properly and they start leaking, however my factory 04 headlights have condensation in them most of the time

I've always considered swapping my '04 headlights for '06 OE projectors one of the most enjoyable mods I made. I can actually see down the road when driving at night, what a concept....Gary

I was asking myself the same question then I I figured can't go wrong with 06 projectors. Especially in your case since u have them already. Why wait for the upgrade, then change the g signiture to a acura. My two cents that's all. Peace
