Just saying Hello

My first post just dropping in to introduce myself.

This is my first G35, however I have owned several 300zx's ranging from Z31s to multiple Z32's. Z32's being my favorite body style. I was rebuilding a Z32 convertible before I decided to sell it and then came across this G35 I picked up.

I need back seats for my son, So I needed back seats which is why I went with a G over a Z.

I was browsing Ebay and came across this beauty. It's a 2004, 6-speed, Carribean Blue with Black leather, heated seats, Bose, Brembo package. 76k miles when I picked it up. I had to drive to South FL from North west LA to pick it up. Second day after i bought it the clutch started slipping so the following sunday an Exedy Street/Sport clutch was put in. Haven't had any issues since then. Love this car. Reminds me so much of my old Z32's only more refined.

Got a few plans for it down the road. Full suspension, Coil overs, set of Works, few tasteful aero mods, possibly a supercharger and bolt ons. Make it a clean all around good car. See you guys around the page!

*Edit* Just saw the new user into section after i posted...Sorry about that*

Nice! Welcome to the g community. Out of all the colors, that is the best one. Looks like you have some plans for the G.

Nice pick up. One of our employees has a couple fixed up Z32s, definitely a nice chassis to mod.

You should get those wheels checked out...they don't look safe.

That is a good drive and a way to really test it too. How long was the drive?
