HELP!!! Car Won't Start!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=AooYN5KYJ0M

can anyone diagnose my car with anything? i replaced my battery about 2 weeks ago, and just 2-3 days ago, my car won't start. all the electrics in the car work, but my engine won't turn over. when i try to start the car, there is only a single click (at 0:08). ignition problem?

thanks in advance

p.s. the car is an '06 coupe

Make sure the terminals are connected tightly.

Any websites you would recommend I purchase from? or should I just go straight to the dealership?

i wouldn't buy a starter from the dealership...pull yours out and take it to autozone or somewhere nearby. they can hook it up to a machine and verify its out. From there they can give you a replacement and credit for your old one

Some people are telling me it's a starter problem, and some are saying it's the starter relay. For the relay, the dealership said I would need to purchase the whole IPDM, which will run me about $600. A starter from the dealership is $340. Yikes!

I'll bring take out the starter and bring it over to Autozone for a diagnosis tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is a difficult job? Thanks guys!!

you give no info. when turning key do you get a click...or...a buzz...? if not look at your battery terminals FIRST. many time a green slime builds up inside and around the male terminal creating NO contact...clean this with wire brush first.. then check battery for bad cell.

I get a click. All my electrics still work fine, so I don't know if it's a battery terminal.

i can't see the video so don't know if you tried, but definitely try jumping it first still. i had a new battery but had a short somewhere draining it... there would still be enough juice to power all the electronics, but it wouldn't crank at all. if it still doesn't start, then i agree with checking the starter coil

Does anyone have instructions or a DIY for how to replace the starter on an 2006 coupe 5AT? I went under the car and found it, but there seems to be a metal frame thats in the way
