I am re-posting this from another forum, my cousin and I wanted to get some ideas... (this post was written by my cousin) I am also adding pictures at the bottom that we shopped of my car..

did a few forum searches.. didn't see anyone discussing this.

me and my cousin got to talking the other day and thought it might be fun to see how our cars would look in photoshop with various mods. well after a bit we said hey why don't we ever see anyone with white lettering on their tires anymore, is that a drag only thing?

i don't really know how i feel just yet, but right now i think i might get some chalk and see how it looks in person. just wash it off after.. but i have to admit it's growing on me.

here's a before and after, i used a quick google search and used a falken brand just to make it seem as realistic as possible with a quick photoshop. thoughts?

What's next "White Walls?"
Who resurrected this old fad? After we spend big $$ on wheels and body kits why would we want the focus to be on our tires? Black is good enough leave the past where it belongs....in the past!

You're gonna have to get a legit way to put that white on there. It will get dirty and brown fast.

Doesn't look too bad. But you better have good tires if you're going to show them off, lol.

White lettering on tires. Why?

Bcuz racekar!!

I'm with you on this one. I think on the right car it adds to the overall look, but on a car with stretched tires/low profile tires it won't look right. Basically any RWB Porsche looks awesome with them.

I like them on this car too.
