This just sucks, sorry to hear. If Holden had made a 4X4 Monaro Ute that would have been badass. If you guys don't know what the Ute is it's basically a GTO chassis/interior with the LS2 and a truck rear. Interior looks identical to my Goat but RHD of course.

More suckage, I hate this crap because it's so avoidable. Did they at least stay and own up to hitting your car so you can get insurance involved? It hurts my heart to see someone put so much love and care into something and have this happen.

And my suck story for the day. Found out that Amanda has no compression due to a timing chain failure that bent the valves. So after 9 1/2 years of blood, sweat and tears she's going to be sold. We don't have the time, patience or knowledge to rebuild her ourselves and it'll cost more to buy a used motor and pay someone to swap them out than the car's worth. I knew this day would come eventually but I didn't expect to see it at 150K miles. C'est la vie.

Oh dear no. That's sad to hear. I'd imagine even if you did swap the engine you wouldn't get much out of it sadly. People are animals with their offers on the G's now.

Btw... Mine will stay around .

Unless that ute comes here .

After realizing the cost of purchasing a truck at the current gas prices, I've decided to just get a personal trailer and keep the G. It's a luxurious (debatable) coupe with all the technology I'll need! Buying a truck would be a major step backwards in comfort, at the expense of more utility

BD -Oh I wish the person would of stayed but nope. I'm stuck paying the deductible but state farm responded so quick my car is going to be inspected at there shop on Thursday. Its and old car, its not the fastest, but I just love the body style and everything about it lol. I hate the color of my cluster tho....dead yellowish amber...

Urban- I own 3 door 2 door Tahoe lol 2 are non op... 1 just use it to carry stuff or haul stuff when needed. Gas is horrible but it is a 96 ... old heavy v8 engine. I want to sell it and at least buy a 07 tahoe I love the style of older cars than the new ones ... I'm strange.

I see, haha. I'll avoid ancient truck types for now.
I have interest in soldering new LED's on my instrument cluster this year. It's a shame red isn't much of a change of color. Thinking something unique.

I did this before I just bought some small leds n soldered away the old old ones and put the new ones in. Luckily 10 out 12 worked lol.

things got complicated whne resistors were needed.. the whole count the stripes or color to decrease the volts cant really remember.. divide the power by the volts to get the resistance something something came to mind just now.......
