Just so you guys know that one vendor off my350 knows strafe. So I would be careful with them, who knows they might be strafe. They sell rebuilt compression rods and various suspension parts. L Fab is the name.

so here's the update of my purchase situation with conceptautomotive.....with all these posts and the uproar of everyone having similar results with "strafe" and me now with this company, they contacted me via email to blame the shipping company for not provding them a tracking number in time, versus them saying to me honestly hey we packaged your product, shippers havent picked it up yet, or we are awaiting for your transaction to process then we will ship...but no there response was "we did not promise you a set time of shipment". So left me pissed that I spent over 1k and have no idea where my **** is.

So back to present day, they said no refund will be given since stuff packaged and shipping now, coming tuesday afternoon so I await to see the "condition" itll arrive. So my money wasnt "stolen" but my time a was.

Secondly the strafe owners lawrence and dustin, they both contacted me claiming to sue if I didnt delete this post for slander or something. Well guys sorry to burst your bubble but you guys created this reputation on your own, I apparently am just another of dozens of unsatisfied customers. Will I come back to you guys for more parts? nope never, rather pay more with someone else or find some other shady person than deal with than you guys again, but thats just my opinin. And yes conceptautomotive is still charging using "strafe" but apparently ts just dustin as owner, but who really knows.

SO all in all Im getting my bumpers, no refund is given..yet (depending on bumper condition, will post pix if they're jacked up)...so post staying up as a warning for those who dont want a headache in purchases, but buyer beware. And dustin and law, if you guys dont like my opinion of this, well then read up on how many other "happy" customers you guys got..

 

That's not Strafe, it's owned and run by a couple of guys and one of them is bikinilust.

Yea I'm not worried about the "sue you" claims. When you build up a reputation of having lousy service and have a forum full of unhappy customers then maye you should get outta the selling business. Just a thought

Thanks for the update, OP.

First and foremost, we've seen this time and again. Strafe will blame their shippers and provide some sort of tracking information and give you a date. The date comes and goes with no update and no parts. My honest advice to you is if nothing happens by the date you've been given, you file a chargeback with your credit card company and get that ball rolling.

Even if they'd offered you a refund... it's not really a refund considering they take something like 50% for "restocking fees" on parts they don't have in stock.

We really have seen this same scenario time and again.

Also, you just answered your own question about Dustin being the sole owner, being that both Dustin and Law contacted you saying they'd sue over "slander." They've also employed this tactic over and over again, with little to no success. Why would Lawrence contact you concerning the company that he supposedly has no part in? Doesn't make sense, huh?

Driver Staff, I hope you read that part, that Dustin AND Law contacted this guy. Just another nail in the coffin as to their dishonesty.

I hope you get some resolution soon. I really do recommend that if that date comes and goes and you find you've been given another empty promise, you go ahead and file a chargeback. We've got guys on this forum that have been waiting on promised parts for MONTHS. All Strafe will do is point them to the Terms and Conditions that say a buyer must wait for an unspecified amount of time to get their parts. We're talking MONTHS.

 

Let's all remember now, the company the OP is dealing with is called Concept Auto, not Strafe.

We need to keep everyone informed of the new venture, not the old one.
