Just recently purchased a g35 3 days ago and i don't know if it is normal or what but... My car get really hot for some reason especially when its idle like i feel the warm air coming out the hood and sometimes i smell like this burning smell that kind of smells like clutch. The dealer said he recently replaced the clutch a month ago so i don't know if he is telling the truth. Also every time i turn on the car and drive off it makes like this grinding noise for only a second and it ONLY happens after i turn on the car. Need help please

 

Our motors run hot under the hood and it's common for owners to report heat coming out of the engine bay into the cabin. If the clutch is new that might account for the smell , but the grinding sound you hear is the ABS system performing a self-test. It kicks in somewhere around 10 MPH and only happens once after start up.

Sounds to me like you got a normal G with no major worries. Enjoy her!!
