plasti dip question

plasti dip question

i was wondering could you plasti dip the timiing cover ?? i plasti dip some other thing in the engine bay and i know a few mustang guys who have . Just wondering if any1 has ever done this ?? or if it gets to hot were it would melt

Why would you paint anything on your engine that has the ability to peel off? Plus think twice about anything the "Mustang" guys do. If you want to paint anything on your engine use high heat paint making sure it's super clean before doing so....the same process used when painting your calipers.

alright thanx for the help i was thinking about hiptemp paint but the some guys with the mustang said plasti dip does the job lol well thnx for the input ill stick to hi-temp paint

I don't think Plastidip in your engine bay would be good. High temp paint is the way to go.
