intake usually make noises. some sound as if you've got a small turbo or something under the hood. if you are uncertain of anything go back and look at everything and make sure it's all installed correctly but, usually intakes will make noises...throttle body spacers sometimes amplify the sound. they will all usually make a whistling noise tho.

congrats on the purchase btw. i've got the same intake only with an oem z tube. you will not be disappointed.

It's normal to hear a slight whissling sound when you have the throttle open at a certain position. I wouldn't stress it if I were you. a Rattling sound may be something to look into though.

Love the Stillen CAI/Z-Tube combination! No issues with heat soak and with the K&N filter there's no better intake for our coupes. I keep mine as a backup for trips when I want to roll without loss of rwhp due to heat....Gary

^ I remember a long time ago I modded a stillen intake to fit a JWT PopCharger.. it sounded more awesome.. but I had to do some cutting to make it fit.

If you want more noise you can probably look at a M7 Japan Intake.. Those things are beast
