+1000...i dont know why people are telling the op to buy other things..just practice and drive the car

Take everything slow, don't worry about it.

Just get your basic down and don't rush it, practice practice practice.

Make shifting into the RIGHT gear your second instinct.

400RPM Idle is too low. Should be idling at 650RPM when full warmed up.

Like everybody else is saying practice, practice, and more practice. I have 11+ years driving stick and I still had to adjust with the G. It definitely is a lil different to drive. I've had my G for almost a year and there are still times she surpises me, lol. Whats really funny is when you get so used to driving stick that when you drive an auto you still grab for the shifter and your left leg is automatically trying to push in a pedal thats not there...
