It IS Possible!

For the first time since I've had this car, I've managed to stretch a tank out to over 400 miles. Seemed like it wasn't possible until I installed my 5/16 MD iso spacer.

The G is not as bad on gas as some make it out to be. This thing is really dialed in right now

I have gotten over 400 miles as well on a single tank of gas. But, it was all highway driving going between 65-70 mph.

Custom Intake (CF equiv to Pop Charger) and CF Ztube, axle back Magnaflow. that's it for breather mods.

It was a bump of just over 3mpg in the "economy" setting and a jump of around 1mpg in the "power" setting

Umm, I get 400+ miles to a tank on a weekly basis. Just last week I got 660+ km and the gas light didn't even come on yet, it was still a couple of mm above E when I filled up.

I should note, my commute is 90% highway with some spirited driving when I have the chance.

My G is actually better on gas on the highway than my GF's Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix with a 1.8

Mods:

pop charger, Z tube, 5/16th spacer, stillen headers, kinetix high flow cats and stillen true dual exhaust

If you stay on the freeway you can see 400+ miles to the tank.

I've only had my 08 G35x Sedan for 3weeks but I've put 2,000km (1,242.74miles) on so far (I'm enjoying summer ^_^) and for pure highway the best I've gotten is 8.4L/100km 715km (31.79g/62.13miles 444.26miles), average speed of 75kmh (46.6miles), set the cruise at 90kmh (55.9miles) This was driving on roads rural highways with limits of 80kmh (49.7miles) and lots of small towns to slow down, construction and such. It could be better if I didn't drive with cruise and had a manual transmission, but I don't believe Sedan's come with that option. It was a pretty boring drive, I don't recommend it lol. So long as I get over 600km a tank for city/highway I'm happy. I track my mileage pretty closely, so once I've had the car for 6 months I can post some well documented figures for all driving habits for pure city, pure highway, and city/highway etc.

Sedans absolutely come with a manual trans.

Cruise, however, helps with mileage, not hinders it.

My best was August of last year...... From Houston, TX heading to Dallas. With the cruise control set between 80 to 90mph....(depending what town I was driving through) and made it 419 miles on a single tank.
