Transmission Fluid Help?

So, today I checked the tranny fluid on my 06 AT coupe. It was just a bit low so I added some fluid. I realized after that the G requires J Matic type fluid.

I used about 1/8 Quart (not much) of Dexron type to top it off. Is this bad? Will the transmission be OK or should I get the fluid flushed immediately?

if you read the fluid requirements. it stickily states .. no other fluid other than the approved fluid is to be used. I would never consider using an unapproved fluid in something like a transmission. It could cost big bucks soon. I would drain flush and refill with the correct fluid.

Honestly, you 1/8qt of a 9.5ish quart capacity is 1.3%. I wouldn't flip out, but I would start looking into doing the drain/fill/flush that is running around on the forums somewhere.

It's very easy to do, just takes some time.

It would be different if you added brake fluid or engine oil. Then I would say stop-drop-roll. If it were my car I would change ASAP.
