So yesterday.. I was on my way home from school up in Riverside.. There's a two lane street. I didn't make it into the right lane because there were wayy too many cars that wanted to go on the freeway so I figured that I'd just stay in the left lane and go straight and then make a u-turn somewhere. So I go straight, but had to go pretty slow cause there were a crap ton of cars in the side and in front of me. Then out of no where this one douche bag shoots off from the right side where this one plaza is and hits me on the side.

I was having a pretty shitty day to begin with then this happens then when I get out they all try to hassle me and some of his other mexican buddies like gang up on me and all tried to make it seem like it was all my fault and all this other bullshit. Trying to get this sorted out, but damn.. so pissed off. I just got everything done on my car a couple weeks ago then this happens.. Got all his info, but my phone is a piece of **** and only saved the pictures that I took of his licence and his insurance info. His insurance card was expired though so idk hmm..

On the side note.. when I accelerate there this weird noise it's like a rapid tapping noise that gets louder as I go faster. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Hardly have time to deal with all this crap. School is killing me

 

 

Damn that sucks man! I go to school in riverside also (ucr) and there's no doubt that there's some ghetto people in that area. How bad is the damage..? If you want to go through insurance call your insurance and speak to them tell them what happened.

As for the noise it might be the undertray...my cousi s car was making noise like this and I looked under and saw that on of the screws from the undertray came out so it was flapping hitting metal.

Oh you do? Where are you living at haha? Yeah I definitely don't like the area surrounding the school lol and the damage isn't too bad. It's still drivable, but the side panels on the right side are dented up and a good portion of the paint got scratched off. Might of damaged one of my wheels too, but not too sure. I called up my insurance, but they can't do much right now since it's the weekend. Trying to get it sorted out, but it'll be a bit hard since I gotta be up at school during the weekdays.

The noise.. I just changed my oil like 30 mins ago and less than a quart of oil drained out........... surprised that the sensors didn't light up, but i've been burning oil pretty bad. It's hard to tell too cause the dipstick sucks.

oh lol. Wellllll the guy that hit me was mexican, but that didn't matter. It annoyed me because afterwards like 3 other people that might or might not have seen what happened pulled over. They were all mexican too and they didn't were all against me even though it was obvious that it was that guy's fault. Felt like I was being pushed around because I wasn't their nationality. That's all

 

I agree! I bet if it was an Anglo driver, he wouldn't have mentioned his ethnicity. For what its worth, I have been living in Riverside since 1992, and have never had any problems with the "Mexicans."

 

lol.. I would of mentioned ethnicity regardless. If it were like 4 white guys instead of 4 mexicans then that's what I would have said.

I didn't say you were Anglo, you are probably Asian. FYI,I graduated from UCR in 1997 with a double major in Sociology and Chicano studies.

 

mannn that is bad dude....i hope for the best for you. Not the accident only, but the actual situation that could screw u in the a. You should have called the cop because now he could say that you bumped into him. If they act like that, then i would call the cops and let them write a report, especially since their insurance was expired.... Should have taken a picture of the accident and from far away to show that he crossed the lane into your car. I hope he will tell the truth. Happened to me and i took a video and picture of the whole thing. There is no way they could lie. Im worried about the expired insuracne though...done with my essay lol. I truely bring hope to your situation.

I called them three times. First time my piece of **** phone shut down on it's own right when I was calling. Then I called a second time and the operator kind of shoved me off to the side and hung up. Called a third time and the person that picked up sent me over to a different line and the person that picked up then told me that they only send a cop over if someone is injured. So I had no luck with that ... wish I could of taken more pictures, but I lost alot of them because my phone sucks, but yeah thanks for the reply. I hope that it'll all work out too and I'll get my car fixed up because I hate looking at it like that..
