Trying to get coilovers
Trying to get coilovers
Trying to find coilovers for my 2004 g35 coupe.
I just want some feedback on BC coilovers for $700 (less than 5k)
or used Teins for $700, but they look beat up.

Any advice would help!
Thanks!

BC is better than Tein from what i have read, especially because they are adjustable.
700 for used Tein Basics seems like a lot. for 100 more you can get them new from a vendor here and you wont have to worry whether they have 5k miles or 50k miles...you never know with craigslist.

Oh okay thanks! So I'm guessing not all coilovers are adjustable? And 800 for brand new coilovers? Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Craigslist is always a risk. There could be something wrong right? What vendors are good here?
Tein Basic coilovers are height adjustable but not bump/rebound adjustable, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. To play devil's advocate, I owned a set of Teins that lasted me for five years before I decided to sell them. They were great coilovers that I thought were pretty durable and they suit my needs.
For that price though I would buy new. Just go through the vendor classifieds and check out what vendors are offering what coilovers, do a bit of research on user feedback, etc.
