My Apologies.
I will be first to admit that I think a particular vendor used known members on the forums to defend and back him up while he was not doing his job.
I feel just as stupid as those who were ripped off by this vendor.
And for that, I apologize.
I thought I was doing a good thing by stepping in and trying to help out...but I'm starting to think that my reputation amongst others here may have been tarnished since my help did nothing but delay the inevitable.

John you were being nice and trying to help a vendor and the forum out by offering some assistance. Your heart was in the right place and your intentions were good. Thank you!
Its very unfortunate and frustrating what is going on right now.

I wish I could tell you exactly how similar this is to a situation I put myself in recently... trusted someone... stood up for them... and have lived to regret it. Someone who worked for me... I got tossed under the bus by this same person while they were busy trying to cover their own @ss. I came clean, was honest... paid a small price but ultimately the people affected understood and we were able to move forward. Let's move forward.
Not to make it about me but I respect what you tried to do... I respect even more the fact that unlike the person you tried to protect you know "where to draw the line."
We all need to learn this basic skill- there just comes a time where we can't help anymore... and we ALL need to know where that limit is.
And that goes double for IB.
Thanks JBF... see you in the forums.
