what year was Drive-by-wire added to the G-series

I am not sure if something is wrong with the search algorithm or if there is not an article on it but i would just like to know what year did Infiniti put the Drive-by-wire (electronic throttle control) system on the G-series. i am looking to purchase one from the V35 2001 to 2007 range and wanted to know which ones to avoid. i even tried a google search but no specifics show up. do they all have it?

G20 may have been drive by wire, but all g35-37 are dbw and are made from 2003 on.

G20 was cable, but it was also a different platform. The 1999 to 2002 G20 was FWD, based on Nissan Primera (P11). In 2003 the G35 changed the G-series to RWD based in Nissan Skyline (V35).
