Was on the highway headed home from work and it got loud inside like the window was open. Looked all around and windows were all shut. looked up and sunroof was shut. Getting confused now I put my hand up to touch the sunroof glass and whooosh it was airborn. Flew over the car behind me and smashed to the ground. Good news is I had additional safety glass coverage and my insurance covered it.

 

Thank God it didn't hit the car behind you.

 

That crazy.. Good thing nobody got hurt..

No, no warning other than the wind noise for about 50 yards then cya

 

Me neither but I searched on line and its happened to other G35 owners but not limited to G35 cars

 

Geez, and I thought my leaky sunroof was a problem....

How does the sunroof come off? You mean the glass section separated from whatever mounts it to the sliding rail? Or did the entire thing come off the rail and blow off?

 

It looked like the glass came out of the frame it was in. I know it only took 15 minutes to replace..
