I'm getting almost the same rates.

With the 350z and labeled as a part time driver and 2 points for not fully stopping at stop signs got my insurance at about $360 with All State.

after switching to the G35 as a PRIMARY holder prices were ridiculous.
about $400

Benefits of living with your parents (19yo) and only having to worry about car payments. (Eventually will go down as I get older and I move out)

but then again I saved up since I was 16 and only make insurance payments, cars all payed off.

With a clean driving record you should be paying around $400 to $500 every 6 months, maybe even a tad less

The very cheapest way for you to get insurance if your father will agree is to title the car in his name put the car on his insurance and just make the loan payments. There is just no way a young person can get a better deal on their own.

THIS right here. Unlike the price of the car itself where we can give you an idea if it's a good deal or not, insurance varies so much that there's really no way for us to give you a good idea of the cost. Just know that at 18, full coverage, on your own insurance won't exactly be cheap to start off with. You're best option is what you were afraid of, you need to call and shop around.

I pay $286/mo.

Thats for full coverage, $1k deductible, and a wretched driving record that includes SR-22 insurance.

I pay more for insurance than I do for my car payments lol
