Other then a simple 'nice car' or thumbs up, I usually get some nice comments specifically about the outstandish color of my G. Also get asked about the year and they are usually very surprised when I tell them its an 04.

 

For real. People think just cuz its 10yrs old it should look like elephant poop. There is a such thing as maintaining beauty!

Absolutely. I've said this before and I'll say it again: I haven't seen a car with such classic styling since the first gen camaro. This car very much reminds me of a first gen camaro on lots of levels.

It's on the same level with Supra and R34 Skyline IMO style wise.
It came out more than 10 years ago and still looks better than most new cars now days. You put G next to BRZ or FRS and someone who knows nothing about cars will think they all same year.

 

The FRS to me is ugly. Its like the genesis coupe. I hate anything that flat out copies someone else's ideas. Both the genesis and FRS/brz are cars I call "wanna-Gs". They see us and they wanna be us.

I'm just getting up out here @ 3:30am yawn lol. Yep just last night I took a cruise and the car definitely turns heads, funny to see people talking and their eyeballs are on you as you cruise by, so much so that the person they are talking to turns to see what they're staring at.

Yea seriously, they're also usually especially surprised with the interior. Couple of my buddies couldn't believe it had navigation... I mean c'mon its not that old

Color is Tambora Flame, pretty much an Orangey Gold, you could spot it from miles away.

I gotta admit though, I do like the look of the FR-S more than the Genesis.. or it may just be because I don't like Hyundai at all

 

No doubt, Hyundai's are lame. Gen coupe = G35 rip off. Gen sedan = Mercedes E63 rip off.

Nothing more annoying than someone trying to make a buck off blatant plagiarism. Inspiration is one thing, so I don't mind the FRS as much, but thievery is another.

 

Yea friend of mine has the FR-S, that thing loves to go sideways lol.

In my books G35>>>FR-S>Genesis, the G is just a better overall driver's experience, better looking, and not made in Korea

I agree 100%. Take off the headlights & grill and you couldn't tell them apart.

Compliments I get are nice car, what is it? Shiny and how do you keep it so clean.

I don't get any love those stock 17's comments. I'm endlessly trolling around for some new shoes.
