I believe all sports cars have light camber and feathering

That's why I'm not too worried. The 050's had I think a 30,000 mile warranty for cars who do regular rotations. I rode em for about that so it's fine.

It is what it is, the G eats tires.

*edit*

Make sure you periodically check your tires for feathering as it is not only common, but a pain when you didn't realize your inner tire was completely worn down. It's also an inconvenience because most shops don't stock the staggered 225/40/19 fronts and 245/40/19 rears and if they do its usually some crap you know nothing about. So keep that in the back of your mind.
Funny how you say their reliable, because the past Nissan's that my family members have owned have been UN-reliable. Hopefully its not a trend...

Thanks for the tip about the tires. Weird thing, I replaced my 2 front tires with new ones just a couple of weeks ago, but the shop installed 245/40's on the on them. So I have 245's all the way around.
Does this mean I can rotate my rims/tires like normal? I know these wheels are supposed to be staggered.

You think 30k miles is bad?

I have to replace my sportbike tires usually less than 10k miles. So I'm used to changing tires like every year. But then again, that has 170hp + to one wheel...

Haha, there may not be a recall, but there are plenty of people calling for one. I've seen whole websites dedicated to calling out Nissan on it with the Z, G, Altima and Gtr

Guess I've been lucky with my Nissans. We had a total of 6 nissans throughout my family with no major issues. With my old 240 netting the most mileage n still going strong before I sold it at 180k miles. That car was bullet proof

Well, while in high school (about for years ago I graduated) I had a buddy galling around an '84 poop green Sentra with over 260K on the clock. No A/C, power nothing, 5-speed manual with an aftermarket radio. Anemic when you pressed the gas, but you could keep on pressing it for another 250k it felt like.

Then again, a lot of time it comes down to maintenance and attention given to your vehicle. If something starts squeaking, squealing or leaking don't ignore it, fix it. Usually machines will thank you for them. I have heard some horror stories of trannys on some Frontiers though.

That's kind of weird man. I would check and see your rim size? Do you have the 19inch rays? They are staggered where the rear rim is wider. You can technically make the 245 tire fit on the front rim, but I wouldn't rotate like normal if you have wider rims on the back because 1: traction would possibly be messed up if you mismatch rim sizes and 2: it would look really weird and I wouldn't be able to get all the girls in my car like that.

Food for thought - I did some Fixed Operations consulting a while for new car dealership's service department and while speaking to the GSM at a BMW store I was told that BMW did not believe in tire rotation for their vehicles, mostly because they were almost all on staggered set-ups, but even if they did not have a staggered set-up to allow the tire to wear out evenly and because it was engineered to do so that way. <-- but those are the Germans

Well if I want tires to last me longer I should have gotten a minivan right.

And about your bike's tiers --> "You'll need something more than that crouch rocket"

(someone help me insert epic Fast and Furious meme here)

Good point, hopefully we can all get Q60s out of this.

Those 4-bangers were bullet proofs... Until the Tokyo drifters came around.

If you don't wanna get the camber kit for the back, that's cool at stock height. I would still recommend it for the front tho stock height or otherwise.

BTW, I'd rather have my G than a Q60.

Did I just read a post from you that had punctuation and capital letters... Something is wrong here.

Do you recommend front only? I could consider buying a front kit if it saves my nice new tires.

Front only is fine if you're stock height. Any amount of lowering tho and its gonna screw up your rear alignment as well.

Because most peoples camber is retarded from the factory. Mine certainly was. Feathering tires at stock height pissed me off.
