Great update article... so the GTR NISMO and Vette are now similar in the test..... I just think the Vette looks much better for the money you're spending

That's the time listed on the Top 100 lap times site.

However:

According to fresh reports, the 2015 Corvette Z06 has run a lap time of 6:59.13 at Nurburgring, and the HD on-board video will be released “soon”.

What do we know about this run? It was done in a production 2015 C7 Z06, and the car was equipped with the Z07 aerodynamics package, along with GM’s new 8L90 eight-speed transmission. That is all the information we have at this point, but we do expect more (official) information to be released in coming weeks.

As you know, the C7 Z06 has been heavily criticized as of late, with rumors circulating that the car suffers from heat stroke, or a poorly programmed factory ECU, etc. There are also numerous videos appearing on the internet of the new Z getting beat by the likes of the SRT Viper – the C7 Z06’s primary competitor.
Yep lots of bad mouthing on the C7..

Just went through a similar process....ended up with 911 Turbo and couldn't be happier.
Drive them all and decide. Do not let Magazine and Forums tell you what to get. Its your money, get the car that makes you smile every time you look at it when you get in or out.
In the end, you and 99.9% of people on this board will never be able to utilize the power of either of the three so how fast they go around the "ring" is complete useless.
my 2c

All these geezers coming back :P. But how would I let everyone know I have a big engine if I don't buy the biggest and baddest?

The same idea litters the sport bike community lol. Oh I need the R1 to be as fast as Rossi, never mind the 250 that just passed me at the snake.

I find it interesting that the gtr isn't offered with a manual transmission. Unless theyve changed things since I last looked all that was available was the paddle shift.

Because no human can shift as well or as fast.

But I would still like to see a manual.

GTR over a corvette on any given day. Corvettes are too common and boring imo

i have the '10 GTR, and I'd get another one in a heartbeat (next model probably) I think they're both on par with each other, so no matter what, you're going to get a split down the middle opinion.

This is gonna be one of those things you just gotta sit in it and take it for a little spin, you'll know which one feels more at home to you.
