This is my 04 Desert Platinum coupe.I've owned the car since 05 and didn't see any reason to get rid of it at this point. Since there was a small spot on the roof where the clear coat was getting thin and the spoiler is fading a bit I thought what the hell I want to do something different.

I was really impressed with some of the paint jobs that people were doing with Plast-Dip. I researched a ton and changed my mind about colors more than you can imagine. I found a local guy who dips vehicles and liked his work. So after more back and forth on colors I went this route.

The color is Burnt Copper Alloy Pearl with a satin finish. This isn't Plasti-Dip, it's Autoflex paint which is removable also but more durable. I had the front grill, roof and rear valence painted in a dark gunmetal color. It looks black but in the sun you can tell it isn't quite black.

I couldn't have chosen a better color for my car. The color shifts from bright to dark depending on light and it just looks awesome. Here's the pics. Not the best but it's what I got right now.

Thanks for looking

Scott

Holy fawk that's gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a fan of the taillight paint but I would rock it on that car just because the rest is so bad azz. If I hadn't committed my GTO to staying bone stock I would do this to it in a heartbeat. Mind if I ask how much? Did they do the engine bay, door jambs, trunk etc. as well?

I've got a major man crush on your G now........BTW I'm a born and raised Texas Longhorn and went to school there as well hence the major love.

Beautiful job Scott, although you should have left the tail lights unpainted and installed a Kuruma Z front bumper to make it look killer. Great job none the less.
