color recommendation for rims?

I own an '06 X and it's light blue. I just wanted some suggestions on what color rims would compliment the paint? I was thinking black or silver.

Here's my recommendation, your car's color is called Lakeshore Slate. Use the search function here or Google and look at all the different colored rims on LS cars then pick the color that appeals to you the most.

The purpose of modding is to make the car your own, not to make it look like what other people think it should look like.

FWIW OP, if my memory serves me right. Blue has/had the baddest LS sedan I've seen.. Maybe he'll post up a sample pic but he's right. Modding is about uniqueness to an extent and personal, we may not have the same taste in style.

Anyways, good luck with your decision, keep us updated and post pics.

Thanks man but there have been way more awesome LS sedans on here than mine, search Candlestick Park for example. Yes I still have it kinda, it's in the girlfriends hands as a DD but we live together so it's still with me. My GTO is my daily but I still have to drive the G from time to time to keep my sanity.

Here are a couple of my favorite pics of Amanda:

Texas law, people here put in on the dash or affixed to the inside of the windshield with varying degrees of success avoiding a ticket. I've owned cars for 39 years with the plate on the front so it's just second nature for me. Never had the desire to put it elsewhere.

I've seen candkestick's whip. Also a bad to the bone ride. But he's not active here anymore. At least to my knowledge, whereas you still are. But anyways that's a sick ride. I don't really like chrome on new cars but man that's beautiful

With LS there aren't a lot of options that would look (*)(*)! I believe you should stay with a polished lip and paint the centers either gun metal or body color. Other options would be light gold or all polished, which wouldn't be my choice. We can't make these kinda decisions for you, just recommendations...what do you like?
