Coolant spewing from bleed screw

Coolant spewing from bleed screw
G35 overheated yesterday. Hose was loose causing system leak and overheat.
Now car is running at a good temp, and heater is blowing hot again.
When I go to purge the air from the bleed valve, a couple bubbles will come out, then it will just start pouring coolant free of air bubbles until I close the bleed screw.
Is this normal? I assumed that once the air bubbles out no more coolant would come out.
Thanks

Yea, it's normal. But, I wouldn't mess with the valve while the system is pressurized or warm. Mine broke and shot coolant everywhere including my face. Luckily, it wasn't warm, however, I did run around outside like a psycho...
I think over the years it gets the whole connector gets brittle.

How hot did it get? How long did you bleed it for? It usually takes me about 2 hours, before I'm sure the air is out. I don't mess with that screw anymore. I squeeze the hoses, use spill free funnel, rev engine till about 2k, and do this several times. Once the hoses are all hot, i still have cold air in the cabin usually. I then drive it around to get the last bubbles out. Done it this way several times.
