]looking at buying a 2008 G35x. It has 87,000 miles on it and has the CEL on. They said that it was the crank positioning sensor and that the blower motor needed the be changed. Said that they have replaced the sensor but light is still on and it's just more than they can handle themselves. The car starts and runs but shifts rough though 1-2-3 gears it is an automatic anyone have any idea about what's going on and if it's worth my time to look at?

 

Take it to the local Infiniti (or Nissan) dealership for a diagnostic pre-purchase inspection. It'll cost about $150 and you'll know exactly what the problem is.
