2005 G35 Gauges Not Working

I have a 2005 G35. Recently my temp gauge, gas gauge are dead. My speedometer goes in circles, and my odometer will read properly, and then show a 1 or zero. Sometimes the temp gauge and gas gauge will flip all the way around and be stuck on the outside of the gauge range. Should the whole dash be replaced?

I would check the combination meter chassis ground first but it sounds like you have a complete failure of the meter which means sourcing another one or having someone rebuild it.

Definitely check the ground circuit though, I've never heard of a complete failure like you described, hopefully during the removal you find some glaringly obvious problem.

Does the stereo and AC controls function normally or are their any other electrical issues with the vehicle?

Sometimes the light for the clock and AC display does flash. Other than that, it is basically only the dash gauges.

Ok might be a simple electrical gremlin then. Check out the factory service manual under the section PG (power and grounding).
