Jack the front wheel off the ground and try shaking it left to right for excessive play then check the other side. If there is no play, start the car, raise the hood and have someone turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. It should feel smooth in its entire travel range. If not, or if there is increased noise from the power steering pump, check the power steering reservoir for proper fluid level. If the power steering fluid is dirty, replace it. You can do this by removing as much of the fluid from the reservoir as you can, refill with new fluid, turn wheel from lock to lock a couple of times and repeat removing the fluid and replace it with fresh. Repeat this procedure a few more times until the fluid appears to be clean. You can also have the system flushed by a mechanic. Make sure you use the fluid recommended in the owner's manual.

cheers thank you I tried that everything is good this shake has now happened when I drove it. It starts with a little vibration then it gets worst by the second with the steering wheel jerking side to side. I'm starting to think it might be the tranny clutches sticking and fighting each other I dont know at a total loss now with new wheel bearings new brakes and rotors new tires. Everything is super tight on this car with zero play we put it on the lift checked all steering spun the tires they spun smooth I rotated the tires thinking just gonna buy another infiniti. I only have a week to fix it or replace it.

Something is severely worn or broken on your steering or suspension.

It's not a tranny problem, get the car on jackstands or a lift and start pulling each of the wheels on both axis', you will find the problem.

Or take it to an alignment shop and let them do the same thing, just give them warning that something on the suspension/steering is bad and that you're looking for a DIAGNOSIS so you aren't wasting their time. If you tell them you'll have your alignment corrected by their shop after the problem is fixed they'll usually just do the troubleshoot/diagnosis for free.
