Vq35hr intake manifold nut removal 12mm
Vq35hr intake manifold 12mm nut removal help my 1/2mm socket is spinning and not turning the nut…do i need to use a smaller socket or do i need a technique to hold the socket in place to turn the nut i bought a power torque wrench and its not coming off either

That baby looks extremely rounded off! No socket is ever going to remove it. Time for vice grips and a new bolt....

It's a long stud that screws down into the front of the LOWER intake manifold (below the plastic intake plenum part on the top). Just keep unscrewing and it will eventually be unscrewed from the lower manifold and it will pull straight up. It's about 5"-6" long.
Once it's removed put it in a bench vice to hold it while you get the nut off the top, typically you would have the stud installed in the lower manifold then it acts sort of like an alignment dowel to line up the upper plenum when reinstalling.
There's another one at the rear of the plenum also, right in the middle.
