All,

I am new to the G35, but love it already! I am having an issue, though, and need suggestions if possible. Here is my issue.

1. The transmission works perfectly on the streets. Shifts smooth, goes into overdrive, etc.
2. On the freeway, after about half an hour, the transmission seems to disconnect. Engine has rpms, but I am not going anywhere.
3. Then, I will put it into "neutral" and coast for 15 seconds. Then, I put it back into "drive" and it usually goes on and is okay. I may have to do this a few times, but it always comes back to normal.
4. I had the transmission fluid changed and a new filter, etc. It still does this.
5. I can only think it is a solenoid, but the transmission guy said he checked that.
6. I don't understand.

Has anybody experienced this issue?
