Absolutely hate the seatbelt rubbing my neck. It is so annoying.

 

That I can't take the RPMs up as high as i want for the first few thousand miles (although I have a few times, just because I wanted the acceleration!)

I have an '06, and noticed that many people were commenting on the soft paint? how do you tell of the paint is "soft" and what does that mean/do?

So a person should expect less than perfection paying that kind of money for a premium product? I don't get it.

It's unrealistic to think ANY car will be perfect but at the same time, it's hard to imagine a person that doesn't expect their brand new car to be perfect.

4. Instead of deactivating certain Navi commands when the vehicle is in motion, why didn't they just put touchscreen and voice command on it?

 

1. worthless windshield wipers, they streak like crazy, had to replace them, still streak a bit
2. clutch sucks *****, but i drive hard so that's excusable
3. 5th gear is basically gone (grinds all the time, won't let me into the socket), still looking into this
4. crappy headlights (need projectors, dual ones, i don't need foglights im not going to be caught in a swamp), terrible side marker design, should just take them out, terrible strip thing or whatever they have on the headlights
5. NAV locks up while over 5mph
6. aux power when key is out but still in the car doesn't exist
7. dead pedal is cheap as hell it's all wobbly when you touch it
8. massive wheel hop during launches
9. too many cup holders, all too small
10. deck display sucks
11. cheap paint, it's rediculous
12. it's magnet for rocks

all infiniti's should have a non-nissan keyfob, if not intelligent key!!!

 

oh by the way, getting my tranny completely replaced because of that 5th gear... its "internal transmission failure" at the dealer so if anyone is having grinding problems for no apparent reason with their tranny, make sure to get a brand spanking new tranny (and see how long it lasts! lol)...

plus that axel clicking stuff, total warranty also... just a heads up

windows creak and make noises on the way up - warranty (window regulator replacement)

 

for my 05 sedan...

1. no body kits available
2. windows creak
3. not dual exit exhaust like coupe, fx
4. non premium sedan sunroof doesnt go auto up/down
5. non prem rear seatback does not fold up like coupe
6. cheap 'nissan' key fobs

 

they have kits for the sedans as far as i know... and some of them look damn good... do some research man... try bodykitz.com

 

... umm... yea... thats general impression by people that dont know...

you say sedans, like they are all the same... unfortunately when the sedans got a facelift, the front ends were changed slightly. The 03-04 front bumper, hood, headlights, and grill are NOT interchangeable.

THERE IS NO BODY KIT FOR A 05-06 G35 SEDAN. (IMO the OEM front lip is trash and I dont count it)

Sorry if that comes across mean, but yea... uneducated comments frustrate me.

^ basically my thoughts as well... no need to be bitter

 

1. Ummm, how about tranny shutter when decelarating. My stick start to viabrate like crazy.If I push clutch in then it goes away, but man is it annoying.
2. Our seats are power everything EXCEPT for the lumbar, why??? Even my Dodge Ram has a power lumbar button.
3. To much road noise. My Dodge Ram was quieter even when my G35 was completely stock.
4. Sometimes my trunk lid doesn't shut closed, it just bounces back open like it is aligned incorrectly. But this is just a sometimes. Maybe 2 or 3 times a quarter.

 

oh ya man 1,2, and 3 are right on target over here too! and the lumbar doesnt even come out that far, it's made for flat backs or something
