Power is a major one (no longer a problem, mind you)... interior is weak. But the exterior alone with proper attention makes up for it!
I wouldn't say it's embarrassing IMO lol.

I just wish I had some more power

Angry What I hate about the G

My '03 G peeves: Soft paint, driver side seatbelt doesn't retract easily, no telescoping steering wheel, slow CD change, overly heavy for its size, small trunk opening (a compromise acceptable for the sculpted rear end design), slightly sluggish feeling in the steering (probably due to the weight), and compared to my last ride, a 1997 Honda Accord coupe, I still can't seem to feel the precise location of the wheels, particularly on the passenger side when pulling in curb side.

I had a perfect connection with the Honda's wheels placement, knowing and feeling the exact location of the wheels to within about a 1/4". With the G, I get out of the car and find the wheels are 3" to 5" from where I thought they were. Then again, I had the Honda for 10 years and have only had the G for 1. Perhaps with time I'll get in the groove.

I love the car, just wish it had more power. Maybe 50-75 more RWHP for a start, then i'd be happy Would love one of these cars boosted though thats for sure.
Even if the G was just as fast it would feel slower since it's more refined

Passenger side has a crack or 2 of about 1" each. Drivers seat back has a whole from an item in someone's pocket.

My complaint is just how much replacement leather costs. I was quoted $1200, EACH, for the parts.

Is it just me or are our suspensions REALLY hard? I recently bought my 2003 G35 coupe and on a smooth road the ride is great, but once I go over even a small bump, going at average highway speeds 60-70mph, the car jolts and sounds as if it's gonna break apart. I mean the contrast of smooth road vs bump is just too big.

But I still love her =D

The only thing I dislike is that it's suppose to be a sports car and luxury which I don't mind but they should at least put in some more lateral seats or bucket seats that hold you in place during the corners....it would be nice to have some seats like in a Porsche GT3 which isnt too racer or too luxury and that infiniti should made a extreme sports package for the G35 just like they did with the G37 IPL

I miss the touchscreen navigation and overall level of user friendliness which my TL's navigation had. I don't mind the interior actually.I suppose the gas mileage was to be expected with the G being what it is. I miss the 31 mpg average every tank the TL gave.

No regrets though, the G is sexy and ya know it. lol

Only thing I hate is the rip on that little strip that goes through the razor sharp plastic on the driver seat. That was just a bad design!!

Me too! Somehow it appears the alignment got messed up now everytime I open the hood it scrapes the fender causing paint chipping..

Constant rattles, very annoying but I am over it.. Seems like as the car gets older there are more and more though..

TERRIBLY soft paint. I have a chip the size of a quarter on my rear passenger door with no dent, so I assume it is from a rock? The hood and bumper are covered with little nicks, literally all over...

How easily the interior metal trim scratches..

I hate how the gap between my driver's seat and the center console is just big enough for my phone to fall through and small enough for it to be a hassle to get my phone out.
