Don't like the way the tag only sit half on the rear bumper and the other half just hangs off.

No provision for a front license plate mount was pretty annoying. I wound up using the factory threaded mount for the tow hook by buying a long bolt and welding a piece of sheet metal to it with a stick welder. I think the dealership method involves them drilling holes in your bumper to mount the plate mount. It's irritating that they didn't come up with a cleaner way to handle it.

Totally agree on the front plate but Stillen took care of that for us. I live in IL where it's the law to have a front plate but don't put it on cuz I'm a rebel I guess. No way I'm drilling holes in my Stillen bumper. There's a bunch of guys around here that have the Stillen bracket with their front plate on it but the bracket and plate are always located in the trunk so defeats the purpose.

The price of the maintenance - it is a high end car and I realize that but still the price it costs for replacement parts kills me. I've had my car for almost a decade and it gets more expensive as it ages.

Too many people complain about gas milage. Why did you buy an Infiniti? Go buy a Civic with a poopy 4 cylinder.

^ I think people complain about gas because there are V8's with bigger displacement that get better gas milage. example LS2. At least thats my complain about the milage haha.

I agree. My 4.6 V8 had way better gas mileage than the G. However I don't complain about it. Another 100 bucks amonth won't break my back

I can see your point. But you don't buy an Infiniti for saving gas.

Heavy and MPG are problems. Since the Z is lighter, anyone know if its MPG is THAT much better?

Agreed. I've had the care for ages but new to the game of DIY with it. These forums and online DIY's are very helpful. I'm doing more and more DIY's as a result.

This made me laugh. I did the iPod installation where you have to take apart the shifter and dash. I got everything back together and about to put in that stupid pin for the shifter..slips out of my hand and right in between the drivers seat and the center console

45 minutes later trying to find it and cut up hands, i finally found it using a long flathead and flashlight trying to pry it out of its hiding spot.

So yea, i hate that pin!
