No more non infiniti oil changes

I just called my dealer (Power Infinity of SouthBay) to check on price of oil change(using my Mobil 1 oil)and they said the higher ups said no more oil changes unless its infinity oil or infinity parts.
Well, now, they just lost some business.

And what the heck is Infiniti oil? They must have their own oil rig out back.

I'm sure InfinitI Has good reasons for using the parts with which they have a lot of testing and data.

We are talking about engine oil, right?

Hmmm . . . By limiting the oil to "Infiniti Oil," they decrease their inventory of different products and possibly make more CASHOLA . . . Or something in that line of thinking . . . But that is just a hunch.

Just do it yourself...I don't trust anyone else to be honest.

As for the changing oil stuff, I've heard it's a liability issue...I remember asking a while ago about using my Mobile 1 but the only way they would do it is if they bought the Mobile 1 and did it that way.

South Bay Infiniti told me they use Castrol motor oil.But now with the body kit, they say they can't get it on the rack to do the oil change. So now I do it my self.

Take it to the local Nissan Stealership. They'll do it and most likley will much less than anything Infiniti will charge.

The price wasn't really too bad, $18. The local Nissan wants $20, so I guess thats where I'm headed unless someone can recommend someone else in this area?
