does your auto-dimming mirror come ON automatically when you turn your car on?

does anyone knonw if dealers can program so that it stays OFF? my windows are tinted so i dont need it although auto-dimming actually works through the tint, i hate turnning it off everytime i drive when its dark....

 

Yes, it stays on. I just turn it off when I drive in the daytime. I don't think dealers can change it. Not a big hassle.

 

If your windows are tinted and the auto dimmer's becoming annoying, just remove the fuse which may disturb other things, or cut the connectors. Not much you can do besides manually turning it off everytime.

 

not a big of deal.
one touch will do it.
not worth going through dealer for that
